      All,

We have implemented Ntrip/Caster support at SOPAC/CSRC
for 29 raw data streams and 1 RTK (RTCM 2.2) data stream,
all from Southern California (SCIGN stations
participating in real-time subnetworks in Orange, San
Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties). This feature is
newly implemented in the RTD/CommLinkProxy softwares
licensed to Scripps by Geodetics, Inc.

I know that most of you are familiar with NTRIP,
developed by BKG in Germany. If not please see
      http://igs.ifag.de/index_ntrip.htm. You can download an
Ntrip Client for various operating systems (e.g.,
      Windows,Linux,Windows CE) at
      http://igs.ifag.de/index_ntrip.htm.

On the client, set 132.239.152.74:9031 on the
"Broadcaster" menu and select "Update source table" to
view the available SCIGN data, and set the flow of data
      on the "Settings" menu.

Currently, there is no authentication (user:password)
required. In the next few weeks, we will provide RTCM
data streams for all these stations. Our plan is to
support RTCM version 2.1 for the time being. Any
comments, other than let's provide all versions of RTCM,
CMR, etc? My preference would be RTCM version 2.3.

On a related matter, we expect more data streams to come
on line in the coming weeks in San Diego and Riverside
Counties. These will be added to the Ntrip/Caster as they
      become available.

      Cheers,

      -- Yehuda
