Timeseries Documentation

Note: SOPAC now provides refined timeseries generated from the SOPAC refined model.

SOPAC provides processed North/East/Up (neu) timeseries for all sites that are included in its daily analyses. All timeseries displayed have had offset corrections applied and outliers removed. To obtain the data for these timeseries, and/or their corresponding raw xyz and neu timeseries, go to http://garner.ucsd.edu/pub/timeseries.

For sites in the western United States, filtered timeseries are available. This includes sites in the BARGN, BARD, EBRY, PANGA, and SCIGN permanent GPS networks, and western U.S. sites in the CORS network.

The regional filtering is carried out in space domain. By stacking the time series from a group of core sites, a time series containing common noises for the region can be derived, which will then be subtracted from individual time series to improve positional estimates. Unfiltered time series are also available for these sites. For all other sites, only unfiltered time series are available. No regional filtering is performed for these sites.

Both a standard timeseries display and a java display are available for each timeseries.
