FTP transfer statistics for the SOPAC/CSRC data archive are currently unavailable. The SOPAC Data Management Team recently moved the SOPAC/CSRC ftp service to a new server after our old server failed. While this move was planned, the old server's failure was not, and several changes required to provide ftp statistics for this new server have not been made yet.
The Team is moving the SOPAC database to a new server during the summer of 2002. During this move, the database will be redesigned to offer faster performance and better organization. These changes will require additional modifications to the way our ftp statistics are calculated.
Given the above, SOPAC hopes to have its ftp statistics back online by autumn 2002, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
