The Map Browser allows users to view, scroll and zoom maps of GPS sites. Use the Map Mover tool icons to zoom in (+), out (-), or scroll (arrows) to view maps as needed. You may enter latitude, longitude and/or scale values in the text boxes below the map to recenter/rescale the map. Press the "Submit" button to do so.
Clicking on the map image will recenter to the position selected. Clicking on a site links to information about that site. Map layers of various geographic features may be available for the region selected. If so, these will appear below the Map Mover tool. Toggle/de-toggle the layers as needed, and press the "Submit" button when done. Large, static plots of map browser images are available in the "Large Plots" section below "Map Layers". These will increase the image size to the specified resolution, and will increase your browser size to do so. A list of options is provided in the legend to the right of the map. Clicking on an option displays the respective option map. Note that only sites for the selected option will be displayed, even if the map location is changed. To view sites for more than one option at a time, select the "All" option, if available.
