SOPAC has used, for several years already, an FTP server designated solely
for uploads to SOPAC. On this server there is a special account set aside
just for IGS use - primarily the upload of hourly rinex files.
There are no restrictions on Who may upload data to SOPAC using this account,
How Often, or From what server. We do ask that your uploads be limited to
hourly rinex (observation, navigation, meteorological) files, or communicate
to SOPAC what you would like to "push" by contacting one of the email accounts
below.
This server is scoured regularly and generally will not retain anything for
more than 2-3 days, if SOPAC has no interest in the file(s) or isn't aware of
the file(s) being provided. Once you are ready to begin uploading data to
SOPAC please contact one of the email accounts below to acquire the account
password, and to inform us of the dataset you are sending on a regular basis
so that we can ensure it is archived, as opposed to deleted.
