The site is located near the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO). Observations are taken every 5 minutes. This site is part of the NOAA/FSL Ground Based GPS Integrated Precipitable Water Vapor Demonstration Network (GPS-IPW), supported by SOPAC.
